Thank you to everyone who lit a candle to remember Philip on what would have been his 50th birthday. The messages and messages on facebook were of great comfort to the girls and I. We succeeded in lighting 58 candles and received 2 donations, which I have added to this total as candles, giving us a total of £600 which shall be forwarded to Montrose RNLI as well, as an expression of our gratitude for all their efforts to rescue Philip. We also have a 10K run being undertaken by someone as their way of remembering Philip... We will never know how he would have handled turning 50, but I hope he is looking down now and is proud of all his family and friends who have come together to celebrate his special day.
